With over a decade of experience in the design industry, Cherie has honed her skills in both architecture and interior design, bringing a wealth of expertise to the table. However, her journey didn't stop there. She ventured into the exciting realm of UI/UX design, acquiring invaluable knowledge and skills through intensive training at Springboard.
During her time as a UI/UX Design student at Springboard, Cherie dedicated over 700 hours to immersive courses and hands-on projects. Under the guidance of expert mentors, she delved deep into the world of UX research, design thinking, information architecture, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and testing. These experiences have equipped her with the tools to create exceptional digital experiences that truly resonate with users.
Let's highlight some of her notable projects. Working with a team, she developed Kala's Marketplace Management Platform, a groundbreaking B2B SaaS solution empowering local marketplaces. Additionally, she designed and brought to life ArtScape, a paywalled art tutorial website, and successfully executed House2Home, a modified GV sprint for an e-commerce startup. Lastly, she crafted PaintPros, a job platform tailored specifically for painting contractors. These projects showcase her ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, and deliver user-centric designs.
Prior to transitioning into UI/UX design, Cherie held key roles as a Designer/Project Engineer at Hardt Construction Services, contributing to securing construction projects through compelling design, and as an Architect Co-Owner at Sobredo Design-Build Services, effectively managing the entire lifecycle of various residential building projects. Additionally, as an Architect Project Lead at Arki-Sigat, she led a team of talented interior designers and drafters, ensuring flawless execution of high-end residential projects.
With a diverse background spanning architecture, interior design, and UI/UX design, Cherie brings a unique perspective to every project undertaken.
